I like this logo. It’s like a nautical screaming chicken.

And it's got one of these too!

(Boattail)

It’s got both - the whole logo outline is a whale tail. And of course it’s got the boat with tail.

The outline is a cross-section of a hull

Would a nautical chicken be a seagull?

Yes? A nautical turkey would be a pelican.

If Smokey and the Bandit were a boat chasing movie.

It’s an interesting design, but not a great logo.
Conceptually, it tells a story (American nautical something or other). But a logo is supposed to identify a brand, not explain it. Which leads to the second issue.
Technically, t here’s too much detail so it’s not going to read well at small sizes.
And the
sail boat and hull cross section seem
redundant.

Coincidentally not far away, Lyon shipyard with their own awesome logo. I wouldn’t mine a nautical Group B rivalry competition.

#TeamChicken wants no part of the flying poopbirds.
